Where can I find Time Warner Cable SportsNet on my TV?

Time Warner Cable SportsNet or TWCS for short, is located on cable channel 26 in the entire Rochester, New York Division of Time Warner Cable. We can also be found on the Time Warner Cable Digital Sports Tier on channel 215.

What is your coverage area?

As we said above we can be viewed in the entire Rochester Division of Time Warner Cable. That includes the counties of Monroe, Ontario, Wayne, Livingston, Orleans, Genesee, Seneca, and parts of Wyoming, Schuyler, Cayuga, Yates, Erie, Niagara, Steuben and Allegany counties.

What about TWCS-on-Demand?

Good Question. Time Warner Cable SportsNet on Demand is located on channel 214. Missed a game? Want to see your favorite game or team again? Don’t worry; just go to TWCS-on Demand to find all the past games, events and feature shows from all your favorite local teams. Everything is available to you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Just go to channel 214, click on your favorite team or event, and sit back and enjoy great local sports programming whenever you want.

What are TWCS’s plans for high school sports?

We are working very closely with the administrators of Section V and are adding great high school sports action from our area on TWCS all the time.

How can I find what coming up on Time Warner Cable SportsNet?

There are a number of ways. The easiest is just to click the “Guide” button on your Time Warner Cable digital remote. There you will find our on-screen guide that always has an up to date schedule for TWCS. Of course, you can also find the up to the minute program guide on the homepage of this website www.twcsportsnet.com , and a complete listing of all our live games only by clicking on the “live Games” button at the top of our homepage.

We are also listed in the Democrat and Chronicle TV Book, and our live contests are always listed in the sports section of the Democrat and Chronicle.

Do you have any plans to carry any coach’s shows?

We actually carry many coach’s shows already. Syracuse Sidelines runs Friday evenings from the end of August through May and provides complete coverage of Syracuse University sports. In the fall the show concentrates on football, Jim Boeheim takes over during basketball season and in the spring the show concentrates on Syracuse lacrosse action.
This fall, TWCS will again be airing “The Charlie Weis Show” which will give all our local Notre Dame football fans great insights into the Fighting Irish. With the show, Time Warner Cable SportsNet will be airing Notre Dame Football replay each Monday night following a Notre Dame home football game.
RIT Sports Zone, acomplete look at RIT athletics can be seen each and every Friday at 6pm. "Bullseye," a look at the University at Buffalo Sports also airs on Fridays during the fall and winter.
