Time Warner Cable SportsNet (TWCS) was launched on December 15, 2006 as Rochester, New York’s only 24 hour local sports channel.  Our goal is to provide Time Warner Cable customer’s of the greater Rochester community the best in local sports coverage not found anywhere else.  Our emphasis is on the local professional, college and Section V high school sports.

We currently are the home to:

• The Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.
  
  
• The 2007 National Lacrosse League Champions, the Rochester Knighthawks.
  
  
• The AAA affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, and International League power, the Rochester Red Wings.
  
  
• The Rochester Institute of Technology.
  
  
• The Rochester Raging Rhinos of US League Soccer, along with the Rhino’s women’s team.
  
  
• The Rochester RazorSharks of the Premier Basketball League.
  
  
• The 2007 CIFL indoor football league champions, the Rochester Raiders. 

Along with all of our live professional telecasts, you can find the football and basketball games of the Big East Conference; along with Syracuse University football, basketball, and lacrosse.  We are the home of RIT hockey and athletics. To date we have also aired numerous collegiate ice hockey, wrestling, lacrosse, and basketball from around the state and nation; along with live coverage of the NYSPHSA Boy’s State High School Basketball Championships.  During the summer and right through the Grey Cup, we bring live coverage to the Rochester area of the Canadian Football League.
